Our HGV workshop repairs vehicles and trailers We believe that regular maintenance of our vehicle fleet is critical and RGF Logistics Limited has its own HGV workshop based at our Garretts Green site for this very purpose.
The HGV garage workshop is a 24/7 operation based on a 2 shift pattern. We regularly maintain over 100 vehicles in our fleet and more than 150 trailers. This gives our company absolute control and also allows us to get our vehicles quickly and safely back on the road if there is any kind of mechanical failure. This is great news for our customers, as whilst breakdowns from time to time are inevitable, there will always be another well maintained vehicle ready as a speedy replacement.
COST EFFECTIVENESS
RGF also benefits from having our own DVSA approved vehicle testing facility. This service is provided to external companies and also our own vehicle fleet and trailers. This obviously provides RGF with cost advantages - by maintaining our own fleet via our workshop, we have control over our own fleet performance, it increases the likelihood of our vehicles passing the DVSA test and in the event that it doesn't, then our HGV workshop can quickly make repairs.
Our workshop also offers excellent services to external companies for the maintenance and repair of their HGV's and trailers.
